Wine Tour Description
In winter the Chianti presents beautiful colors from yellow to red due of the indigenous vines such as Sangiovese or Colorino. Some days it rains but the temperature is never too low and you can walk along the paths and discover new hidden corners of this beautiful land.
November is the month in which wineries complete the wine fermentation process, and there 's always a lot of activity in the cellars. In December there is Christmas party while in January and February you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the small medieval villages.
This tour is designed for wine lovers of red wines and take you to the discovery two special cellars, the first is a small organic family business which produces small quantities but high quality, the second is a hight rated cellar which is present in the main wine guides.
Winter is also the season of extra virgin olive oil and you will enjoy an olive oil tasting run by a expert to understanding the true Extra Virgin.
Lunch is in a family restaurant in the Chianti countryside where you will sample typical dishes of Tuscany such as bruschetta, meats, cheese and various types of pasta or vegetable soup.
